The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

The RTX Associate Director, Digital HR Payroll Systems will provide subject matter expertise in payroll technology, focusing on the future state technology strategy and transformation for RTX. This position does not involve the day-to-day processing of payroll or managing payroll operations. This role is centered on providing technical integration expertise and strategic guidance in payroll technology, rather than handling functional payroll operations. The successful candidate will focus on leading system implementations, ensuring seamless integration, and supporting the architectural design and maintenance of payroll systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide subject matter expertise across payroll technology strategy, process, and implementation, with a strong emphasis on technical integration and architectural design

  • Lead the technical aspects of payroll system implementations, ensuring success and seamless integration.

  • Evaluate the needs and resources for ongoing technical support and system maintenance with a focus on operational excellence and modern architectural frameworks

  • Ensure compliance with internal global trade, legal, and cyber requirements, working internally with technical teams to ensure alignment and agreement.

  • Prepare and present payroll technology strategy and transformation recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Develop, document, and maintain technology requirements for payroll system implementation and maintenance, including integration inventories and architecture mapping.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Serve as the escalation point for issues and concerns regarding payroll technology, tracking incident management, and ensuring completion of RCAs and After-Action Reviews.

  • Partner closely with HR Payroll and People Service departments, collaborating across the organization to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and service providers, such as payroll software providers, audit firms, and system consultants.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 12 years of direct work experience.

  • Extensive experience in payroll technology implementation and management.

  • Direct experience with ADP Payroll and knowledge of the ADP EV5 application.

  • High proficiency in Payroll System Management.

  • Excellent project management, leadership, and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
