Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 4 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly Desirable: Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- Experience building complex queries on clinical data models.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Epic Clarity and Caboodle
Job Summary:
To provide technical guidance and direction in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems at the medical branch.
Job Duties:
- Collects, aggregates, and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into Patient Safety, Quality, and Patient Experience projects. Utilizes business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards, and produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
- Develops summaries of findings and recommends actions; drives business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
- Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and healthcare outcomes.
Works with internal clients to develop and translate business requirements into project charters, business and technical requirements, and ultimately produce effective and insightful interactive analytics. - Assist with compiling, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data related to department projects. Responds to data integrity and functional or interactive issues in existing and future dashboards quickly and effectively.
- Formulates validation strategies and methods to ensure accurate and reliable data.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Casual appointment, up to 19.99 hours per week or less. This is a non-benefit position.
