In addition, Eurofins is one of the key emerging players in specialty clinical diagnostic testing in Europe and the USA.<br/> Group's key figures are approx. 6.7 billion Euros turnover, 940 laboratories across 61 countries and more than 61.000 staff.</p><p> </p><p> </p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Operate on enterprise-level Infrastructure for providing Network Core Datacenter services for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams</li><li>Install, configure and maintain the physical and (Software-defined) network infrastructure and their configuration to stay within company operational policies</li><li>Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible</li><li>Project approach to resolve technical problems. Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes and support resolution of the issues found</li><li>Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems, contact to vendor technical support for Priority 1 incidents</li><li>Deliver quality documentation allowing for smooth day-to-day operations</li><li>Cooperate closely with the rest of IT Infrastructure &amp; Operations, Architecture and Security teams</li><li>Contact to vendor technical support for Priority 1 incidents</li><li>Provide training to colleagues and internal customers as required</li><li>Improve existing processes through sustainable solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation by automation</li><li>Responsible for onsite DC work (such as racking, stacking, cabling and documenting)</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in Datacenter Network Infrastructure including Switching, Routing, Firewalling, VPN, ISP management, etc., preferably with experience in software-defined networking technologies (Cisco ACI – add/delete/change EPG, BD, App Profile, etc.)</li><li>Notable experience in physical datacenter networking infrastructure including racking, stacking, cabling and documenting</li><li>Notable experience with Firewalls (preferably Checkpoint) and load-balancers (preferably A10)</li><li>Excellent communication with technical leaders, English spoken and written (B2 or above)</li><li>Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)</li><li>Detail oriented, Team Player, Able to work under minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to travel on a limited basis, willingness to work outside normal working hours incl. weekends and participating in the rotational on-call service</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p> </p><ul><li>We  offer you an exciting position in a successful international company with excellent growth and development opportunities.
