About the role

Hajoca Corporationis one of the country’s largest privately-held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies. Founded in 1858,Hajoca is a company based on the principles of “Service, Integrity, Reliability,” and on relationships of trust and support with teammates, customers, and suppliers. Throughout its history, Hajoca has played an active role in shaping advances in plumbing. However, we attribute our success to two simple truths; a unique business philosophy and talented people. Hajoca is all about the people, who give us our advantage, and who will guide us successfully into the future.

Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.

Onsemble is one of those trade names and is looking for a Product Lead in the San Francisco Bay area. Position is Remote (San Francisco Bay area preferred for occasional in-person collaboration).

Pay for the Onsemble Product Lead is $170,000 per year at this location.

Are you a Product Manager who thrives on building zero-to-one products? Do you enjoy working autonomously in a hands-on environment? Are you comfortable with ambiguity and eager to make a real difference? If so, then we’d like you to join our dedicated team as Onsemble Product Lead.

About the Role:

You will:
• Build zero-to-one products in complex, real world domains.
• Work closely with company leaders, engineering, and sales, to define, prioritize, and ship AI-powered features for SMB contractors in the plumbing and HVAC industries.
• Own the product development lifecycle from end-to-end, developing a deep understanding of user needs in the field and translating them into actionable specifications for the engineering team.
• Lead product development for contractor-facing web applications built on React/Next.js and Node.
• Translate messy, real-world workflows into intuitive, high-leverage product experiences.
• Work directly with contractors, supply chain staff, and internal teams to uncover insights.
• Define product specifications and collaborate with engineering on scope and delivery.
• Drive roadmap planning, sprint execution, and cross-functional alignment.
• Partner with design to prototype and validate new AI-powered experiences.
• Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategy and feedback loops.
• Bring structure, clarity, and empathy to fast-moving execution in a small team.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as requested.

About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 4 or more years of experience in product management, preferably at a startup or tech company.
• Proven experience building products from zero-to-one, ideally in a B2B, SaaS or Marketplace Software.

Our ideal candidate will also:
• Be familiar with AI/LLM-based products — concepting, integration, or delivery.
• Demonstrate strong product discovery and execution skills at all phases of implementation, from research to shipped feature.
• Have prior experience in small, high-velocity products teams and/or wholesale logistics, construction tech, or field service domains (a plus).
• Be familiar with Figma, Supabase, and Notion-based documentation (also a plus).
• Have a background in AI tooling, data workflows, or automation products.
• Be an excellent communicator and collaborator and comfortable working with engineers and non-technical users alike.
• Be excited about traditional industries (plumbing, HVAC, distribution) and building tech for the real world.
• Have a bias for action, clarity, and accountability in ambiguous environments.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Be able to effectively recognize and manage risk to protect the organization.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues proactively and make informed decisions.
• Be able to troubleshoot and find creative solutions to overcome project challenges.
