Job Description

-WordPress Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins to meet the client's or organization's requirements.

-Customization: Customize WordPress themes and plugins to achieve unique designs and functionalities, and ensure optimal performance.

-Code Optimization: Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code to ensure the website's speed, security, and search engine optimization (SEO).

-Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality, including e-commerce, payment gateways, social media, and more.

-Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance problems quickly to maintain website uptime.

-Security: Implement security best practices to protect websites from potential vulnerabilities and attacks. Keep software and plugins up-to-date.

-Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure the website's design and functionality align with the client's or organization's objectives.

-Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance, including page load times, by using techniques like caching, content delivery networks (CDNs), and image optimization.

-Responsive Design: Ensure that websites are responsive and compatible with various devices and browsers.

-Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any issues related to functionality, usability, and compatibility.

-Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of custom code, configurations, and processes for future reference.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

-Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.

-Advanced knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.

-Expertise in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.

-Familiarity with popular WordPress frameworks and best practices. 

-Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).

-Understanding of website security principles and practices.

-SEO best practices and knowledge of SEO plugins.
