3D Imaging Intern

Job Overview

The Summer 3D imaging Intern will assist the animation team with CAD ingestion, optimization, and visualization for our various internal projects. The intern will work within various software ecosystems to receive, ingest, and prepare CAD files for handoff to the larger animation team. Occasionally, the intern will fill the need to create realistic imagery by setting up materials and lighting for equipment.

Key Job Responsibilities

    Ingest CAD files from Autodesk, OneDrive, and VPN platforms
    Optimize CADs with use of Pixyz and other applications
    Review and add materials using Autodesk software
    Set up lighting and render out images of machines on an as-needed basis

Qualifications/Requirements

•    Currently enrolled in relevant college major 
•    Experience or familiarity with the Autodesk suite
•    Experience with rendering platforms
•    Experience with lighting setups for 3D environments
