About the Role

This role is responsible for managing the relationships between suppliers and the organization. They will oversee the procurement lifecycle of products and services from assigned suppliers. Additionally, this role will lead supplier governance routines, as well as lead renewals and identify/pre-qualify potential suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Driving the execution of procurement policies which meet the needs of internal customer requirements.
• Managing the supplier governance process, based on supplier tiering approach; drive overall value and strengthen the ROI.
• Coaching and leveraging knowledge with colleagues that may have less experience in Supplier Management/new to the organization.
• Ensuring business strategies drive renewal and/or sourcing efforts, optimizing supplier base and financial targets.
• Leading governance process for tier 1 and 2 suppliers.
• Adopting and utilize Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Constructing financial and qualitative models to provide fact-based assessments of suppliers’ abilities to meet/exceed needs at fair price points.
• Leading Internal teams through the strategic sourcing process transactions
• Leading sourcing selection, following organization's processes and controls.
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, in partnership with Legal, Finance and Business partners.
• Reviewing/approving purchase order agreements for the required goods / service

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelors in Business, Finance or applicable field. Or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing client and/or third-party supplier contracts. Experience should include understanding of Terms and Conditions of the Master Services Agreement, Statements of Work and Fee Schedules.
• Demonstrate expertise overseeing Governance routines and processes.
• Sound financial acumen. Experience includes P&L Management, budgets and forecasting, invoice validation, cost savings, ROI/cost modeling and operational fee structures.
• Possess advanced experience in negotiation techniques; proven ability to deliver favorable agreements which meet business requirements.
• Understand the industry and market trends
• Project management or program management experience
• Advance knowledge of contracting process and tools
• Able to travel
