Job Description :

The Marketing Projects and Planning Manager will work closely with the head of Marketing Operations and Planning and will play a key role in a fast-paced environment to orchestrate and manage all marketing activities from planning to execution with respect to efficient processes, timelines and team capacity. This position operates remotely in EST Time Zone.

This role requires someone who is able to manage marketing projects from planning to execution using Jira platform, have proactive communication with stakeholders frequently, updating trackers and tools and finding solutions through building efficient business processes. This role will allow you to work with cross functional teams, learn and grow constantly and  wear different hats to support the quarterly planning, prioritization and marketing projects management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead weekly briefing and scrum session with stakeholders

• Constantly ensure trackers and tools are updated with correct status, deadlines and next steps (Google sheets, Jira.

• Manage marketing projects and lead project communications and team alignment sessions, including, kickoff calls, follow ups, campaign execution review, alignments and projects status.

• Keep the stakeholders informed through timely and effective communications.

• Manage the flow and progress of planned and ad hocs MKT requests.

• Obtain scope and prioritisation change approvals, flag risks or delays.

• Proactively reach out to stakeholders to move things along

• Align teams to processes and help onboard new members.

• Support with the MKT quarterly planning process.

• Work closely with the PMO team to support MKT projects.

• Increase the adoption of MKT tools such as Jira, Trackers, Confluence and Jira tools by onboarding and  supporting the stakeholders on daily basic

• Work proactively on improving the current process

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred

• Project management certification would be an asset

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of similar experience in a MKT or an agency environment.

• Understand project management principles, are masters of time management, strong communicators, and problem solvers, and keep themselves organized and accountable.

• Working experience with Jira & Google Suite is a must.

• Are a strong verbal and written communicator and are comfortable leading meetings.

• Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset

• Must be able to work EST hours

• Live in QC or ON, and can work remotely or occasionally from the office if needed
