Requirements
The Walsh School of Foreign Service (SFS), founded in 1919, is a premier school of international affairs. SFS provides a rigorous education grounded in both theory and practice while instilling the Jesuit value of service. Father Edmund A. Walsh, S.J. 's vision was a school that would prepare students for all major forms of foreign representation — official and unofficial, governmental and private sector, whether commercial, financial, consular or diplomatic.
The Program Manager works closely with the ACMCU Director and the Director of Programs in the daily management and representation of the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU). Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Outreach and development.
Event management and program administration.
Faculty services as well as promotion of the Center’s extensive and varied activities with a consistent and effective message to the Georgetown University campus, the Washington D.C. community and beyond, domestically and internationally.
Work Interactions
The Program Manager reports to the ACMCU Director of Programs and works closely with the faculty and staff of ACMCU
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of related program management experience, preferably in a university or diplomatic setting
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills as well as ability to work individually and with groups from diverse cultural backgrounds
Meticulous attention to detail, deadlines, and customer service are expected
Strong technical skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet and specialized database software as well as Web 2.0 and social media platforms
Ability to work collaboratively to problem-solve and enhance regular processes
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to unexpected challenges
Knowledge of regional languages preferred

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
