Associate Director, Analytics (Advanced Measurement)

As Media.Monks continues to expand our Global Enterprise Analytics capabilities, we are looking for an Associate Director to help us further scale our advanced analytics and modeling capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of projects. These include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. This also includes supporting junior members in developing measurement frameworks, test and learn roadmaps, dashboard and data visualization builds, and audience segmentation. This role is a combination of internally facing responsibilities - services development and operations - and externally facing responsibilities - working with partners, clients, and Media.Monks Growth and Account Management teams across engagements.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is experienced and familiar with the following tools:
- Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques
- Strong experience in data science and analytics with a focus on forecasting, optimization, and time series methodologies
- Experience working with attribution and forecasting models - with knowledge of different approaches such as time series, causal, ridge regression, Bayesian

In addition, we always believe that working across teams enables stronger collaboration and deepens each member’s understanding of the broader media and business ecosystems.
What we’re looking for
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, management information systems, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience such as, economics, engineering and physics
- 3+ years of experience with any combination of analytics, marketing analytics, and analytic techniques for marketing, customer, and business applications
- Hands-on experience using SQL, Google BigQuery, Python, R, and Google Cloud (GCP) related products
- Hands-on experience working with common ETL tools
- Expertise across programmatic display, video, native, and ad serving technology, as well as digital advertising reporting, measurement, and attribution tools
- Adept to agile methodologies and well-versed in applying DataOps methods to the construction of pipelines and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to effectively operate both independently and in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced forecasting models and algorithms to predict business outcomes accurately, and manage them through the entire lifecycle
- Build optimization models and algorithms to optimize business processes and resource allocation
- Own and direct research initiatives from inception to functional prototypes and ultimately to production capabilities
- Uphold our high engineering standards by bringing consistency and repeatability to the training, evaluation, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, gather requirements, identify data sources, and provide data-driven solutions
- Develop sustainable, consumable, accurate, and impactful reporting on model inputs, model outputs, observed outputs, business impact, and key performance indicators
What we offer:
- Competitive salary (NYC: ~$150k-$175k)
- Note: This is the anticipated salary range for this position annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
