We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.
As a perception intern at Zoox, you will play an important role in advancing our autonomous driving technology by focusing on algorithms at the intersection of machine learning and state estimation to solve the multi-object tracking problem. You will work closely with our world-class engineering and research teams, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world, cutting-edge autonomous driving environment with responsibilities that include development, testing, and integration of ML models at the heart of our autonomy stack.
Vaccine MandateEmployees working in this position will be required to have received a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and/or the World Health Organization. In addition, employees who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster vaccine (“Booster”) will be required to receive a Booster. Employees will be required to show proof of vaccination status upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment. That offer of employment will be conditioned upon, among other things, an Applicant’s ability to show proof of vaccination status. Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements
- Candidates should have a strong math background and be comfortable with Python code
- An interest or experience in working with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch is a plus
- Experience with state estimation, sensor fusion, tracking algorithms, and data association algorithms is a plus
