ProHealth Medical Group (PHMG) seeks a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Clinic Operations to join our leadership team. This role operates at both the Ambulatory Business Unit level of PHMG and the System level of ProHealth Care (PHC). Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations for PHMG, the Director of Clinic Operations will be responsible for the strategic planning and clinical operation of the primary clinic locations of Brookfield, Muskego, Pewaukee, Sunset Drive (Waukesha), and Sussex; as well as the Urgent Care locations. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Responsible for maintaining and enhancing physician practice growth and quality of care, advancing the patient service experience, and ensuring clinic operational efficiency.
• Operational Management: Direct the day-to-day operations of departments and clinics in alignment with organizational strategies, policies, and functional responsibilities.
• Team Development: Oversee management and staff in the provision of patient care workflows and administrative support services. Ensure clinical and administrative competencies are developed and consistently deployed.
• Performance Improvement: Develop and maintain evaluative reporting mechanisms and communicate performance to the VP of Operations and other key stakeholders. Utilize established process improvement methods for effective functional process resolution.
• Staffing and Budget Management: Ensure departments and clinics are efficiently staffed to meet quality performance, customer service standards, and budgetary goals. Implement operating policies, systems, and programs consistent with organizational philosophy, strategy, and financial accountability.
• Business Development: Assist the VP of Operations in service line deployment to ambulatory locations by developing business plans that support PHC’s long-range strategic plan. Direct efforts to build and maintain desired patient panel levels for new and existing physicians/providers.
• Facility Oversight: Collaborate with the PHC Facilities Department to oversee clinic site projects, including upgrades, expansions, and new construction.
• Physician Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of employed physicians and mid-level providers. Strengthen relationships with aligned independent physician practices.
• Patient Relations: Evaluate and respond to patient complaints for effective resolution. Assess risk and clinical care concerns involving the medical director, VP of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer when warranted.
• Emergency Response: Be available on a 24/7 basis to handle emergencies within the area of responsibility.

 

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in clinic operations management, with a focus on strategic planning, clinical operations, and business development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple clinic locations and lead a team of managers and supervisors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
