The successful applicant will either be based in Coalville, providing cover for the Melton and Daventry offices as required, or based in Burton, providing cover for the Newcastle-under-Lyme office as required.

A Regional Employment Coach on the Restart programme will deliver flexible, high-quality employment support across multiple sites, with a particular focus on Rapid Response participants and providing cover during periods of staff absence or annual leave. The role is dynamic, relationship-based, and adaptable, requiring responsiveness to changing service needs and locations.
Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators
- Manage a caseload of Restart participants across a defined region, supporting progression into sustained employment outcomes in line with contract requirements
- Deliver high-quality, personalised Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), adapting delivery across multiple sites to meet participant and service needs
- Provide targeted and timely support to Rapid Response participants, ensuring immediate engagement and accelerated job outcomes
- Travel across delivery sites to provide cover for staff absence and annual leave, maintaining continuity and consistency of service provision
- Tailor employability interventions, job search activity, and CV development to meet individual participant needs and labour market demand
- Proactively engage with local and regional employers to identify job opportunities and support participants into suitable vacancies
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of local and regional labour market trends to inform participant progression strategies
- Identify and address individual barriers to employment, including effective signposting to specialist and external support services
- Support participants to access training, skills provision and qualifications that enhance employability and meet job requirements
- Apply coaching techniques to build participant motivation, resilience and positive work-related behaviours
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators, including job outcomes, engagement levels and compliance measures in line with Restart expectations
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant records using relevant systems, ensuring all activity meets DWP and organisational audit standards Regularly review participant progress, setting and updating SMART action plans to drive outcomes Support a diverse participant group, including individuals with complex and multiple barriers to employment
- Identify and respond to basic skills needs (literacy, numeracy and digital), promoting independence and progression
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding policies for Adults at Risk and other vulnerable groups
- Adhere to data protection, GDPR and information security requirements at all times
- Represent the organisation professionally across all delivery sites and with external stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement, quality assurance and best practice sharing across the region
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of delivery
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety policies, including safe lone working and regional travel
- Undertake any additional duties consistent with the flexible, regional nature of the role
Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of job outcomes and sustained employment targets in line with Restart contract requirements
- Effective engagement and progression of Rapid Response participants, including time-to-job outcome measures
- Delivery of compliant, high-quality face-to-face and remote appointments across multiple sites, meeting minimum contact standards
- Caseload management performance, including attendance, engagement rates and reduction in disengagement
- Quality and timeliness of action planning, including SMART goal setting and progression reviews
- Accuracy, completeness and compliance of records in line with DWP and organisational audit standards
- Employer engagement activity and successful matching of participants to suitable vacancies
- Customer satisfaction levels, measured through feedback and service evaluations
- Achievement of performance targets while providing regional cover, ensuring continuity
