QC Associate Sample Coordinator (Night and Weekends)

The Associate Sample Coordinator will coordinate and perform a variety of complex sample and standard handling tasks, including shipping and sample receipt and distribution, in support of all aspects of the laboratory. **Must be able to work overnight shift and weekends**
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Follows SOPs, GMPs, GLPs and industry appropriate laboratory standards.
Oversees the receipt and subsequent entry of Production Samples into associated electronic systems and coordination/preparation of laboratory samples for analysis and prepares laboratory standards and solutions.
Interacts with clients/associates required on daily basis.
Coordinates sample shipment and/or receipt.
Maintains the Reference Standard inventory.
Responds to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities.
Authors, reviews, and revises SOP’s and support Electronic Notebook template development (testing electronic lab notebook templates, author user requirement specifications, etc). Participate in and/or lead laboratory investigations.
Performs routine departmental GMP activities (lab instrument calibrations, preventive maintenance, audits, work orders, etc)
Supports analytical and instrument lifecycle, technical transfer, and/or validation
Laboratory upkeep and maintenance (5S, routine equipment/glassware cleaning, etc)

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years’ laboratory experience in a GMP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Attention to detail
Biopharmaceutical testing experience is preferred, ability to learn various techniques and assays. Assays include (but not limited to) – pH, Appearance, Osmolality, Moisture, CGE, ELISA, CiEF, Bioassay, SEC, SPR, Protein Concentration, HPLC/UPLC, PCR, Colorimetric Titrations, FTIR, TOC, Conductivity, Wet Chemistry.
System experience preferred – SAP/ERP, LES, Webstatistica, Empower, analytical instrument software (softmax, etc)
Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Working knowledge of cGXP, ICH guidelines, FDA, USP/EP/JP and data integrity guidelines and regulations
