JOB SUMMARY:

Perform special assignments including assisting Process and Manufacturing engineers, working with process improvements, packaging requirements for new and existing parts, and assisting with tool trials. You may also be required to assist technicians with mold and color changes, as directed by supervisors. The first section below outlines the essential job functions of the process tech job. Process techs must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize, edit, and improve the Master Set-up Process Sheets.
  • Assist with training technicians on other shifts as needed.
  • Develop work and packaging instructions as necessary.
  • Understand the QA Technician role and CPK studies.
  • Submit qualifying parts to the quality lab.
  • Assist with maintaining the production schedule.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Program, edit, and troubleshoot robot programs.
  • Lead continuous improvement teams.
  • Ability to change shifts on short notice (including working 3rd shift for a short time). 
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and climb.
  • Stand and walk up to eight hours per day.
  • Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.

It may be necessary to perform any of these functions up to eight hours a day.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • .Two year technical degree or equivalent and two years practical experience required.
  • Ability to read blue prints.
  • Display communication and leadership skills, both written and verbally.

Base Pay Range:

$24.06 - $28.75
