We are looking for a self-starting, highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills to join our Network Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of data networks, network analysis and troubleshooting, and good experience with Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewall and VOIP products. As a Systems Engineer, Network Engineering, you will work closely with other IT support teams on network-related issues/projects to support multiple data centers, offices and stores.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and manage LANs, WANs, wireless networks, routers, switches, firewalls, SDWAN (Software defined WAN)and other network hardware.
• Responsible for a large WAN environment, involving multiple networks and data centers, ensuring maximum availability and capacity while ensuring adequate security
• Work effectively on cross-departmental projects
• Support network administration of a 24x7 infrastructure; participate in 24x7 on call rotation
• Perform troubleshooting analysis of problems with network infrastructure, working with ISP or vendors
• Manage network user access and permissions.
• Manage network systems backup.
• Document network problems and resolution for future reference
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation
• Generate and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
• Monitor network performance, and implement performance tuning
• Apply knowledge of firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Provide prompt communication and status reports on critical activities
• Ensure proper security practices are followed in accordance with established IT policies and procedures, PCI and SOX Compliance.
• Manage Security policies and network routes on a public cloud infrastructure like AWS 
• Manage cabling and telecom infrastructure to ensure smooth operations of our customer delight center.
• Work closely with business and other IT teams to fulfill infrastructure requirements for new hires, office relocations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• 3+ years of network administration/engineering experience required
• Experience troubleshooting and tuning WLAN networks
• Expertise in WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, MPLS, TDM circuits)
• Proven ability to work with logical design models (Spanning tree, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling)
• Knowledge of network protocols (CoS, PoE, NTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP,VPC), network management protocols (CDP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS/SSL, AAA, IPSec)
• Technical expertise in Firewall, IPS, SSL, VPN, malware defense, web content filtering, Zscaler SASE, Cisco and Palo Alto firewall Administration, Palo Alto Prisma, Routing, Switching, WLAN
• Networking: Switches, Routers, VPN, Servers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS
• Experience with e-commerce technologies, such as SSL and load-balancing
• Working knowledge of IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Working knowledge to maintain the Cisco Nexus environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, joint environment, preferably in a 24/7/365 Retail/ eCommerce organization
• Experience with Solarwinds or equivalent enterprise monitoring and analysis toolset
• Experience with disaster recovery – planning, implementation, and maintenance
• Experience in network configuration on the public cloud infrastructure like AWS
