As a member of our Platform team, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple programming languages, and shift context as needed. We do that by providing them with the necessary intuitive technologies through creating a wide range of software solutions.</p><p>If you're a creative problem solver who is eager to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure, then challenge yourself by joining our #techteam and make an impact!</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul> <li>Deliver high quality software responsible for serving hundreds of thousands of requests per minute.</li> <li>Investigate new technologies and strategies to help our services scale to larger data sets and quicker speeds into the future.</li> <li>Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps engineers and Tech leads as part of an agile team, to build reliable systems and exceed stakeholders expectations.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews.</li> <li>Practice modern software development methodologies and agile processes.</li> <li>Experiment with new frameworks and technologies and learn continuously.</li> </ul><p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p><ul> <li>At least 4 years of working experience in back-end development.</li> <li>We span languages here: deep software development experience in at least one programming language (Go, Node.js or Python).</li> <li>Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Postgres).</li> <li>Experience consuming and developing REST APIs.</li> <li>Good understanding of distributed scalable systems.</li> <li>Strong algorithm and Computer Science skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with SOLID principles and software design patterns.</li> <li>Excellent eye for detail and a self-motivated problem solver.</li> <li>Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your work.</li> <li>Ability to get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly.</li> <li>Keen to constantly learn and improve your own skills, and not afraid to jump into new things.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills (English is a must).</li> </ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul> <li>Familiarity with at least one major cloud services provider (experience with AWS is a plus).</li> <li>Experience working in an Agile team.</li> <li>Comfort in TDD and other testing practices</li> <li>Experience with containerization and job scheduling technologies</li> <li>Experience in designing, building and maintaining highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant services</li> <li>Involvement with open source projects is a plus.</li> </ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul> <li>If you are happy, we are happy!
