If this statement resonates with you, don’t be so hard on yourself—apply for the job!</p> <hr></div><h3>Hydraulic Engineer</h3> <p>We’re seeking a Hydraulics Project Engineer to lead hydraulic and stormwater management design for transportation and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead our hydraulic design, providing technical guidance on hydraulic design (BSR/CSR), storm drainage systems, and erosion control for linear transportation and infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, manage project deliverables, and ensure compliance with MassDOT and FHWA standards.</p> <h5>Location</h5> <p>This position reports to our Boston office and follows a hybrid work schedule. </p> <h5>The Impact You Will Have</h5> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering technical growth and professional development</li> <li>Oversee hydrology and hydraulic analysis for the design and construction of transportation projects</li> <li>Review and approve stormwater management system and pond designs</li> <li>Manage hydraulic culvert/bridge design and permitting processes</li> <li>Provide strategic direction on erosion and sediment pollution control designs</li> <li>Ensure quality control and compliance with MassDOT standards and FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual</li> <li>Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate hydraulics with overall civil/highway design</li> <li>Assist with client and stakeholder coordination, ensuring projects meet technical and regulatory requirements</li> </ul> <h5>What You Will Need</h5> <ul> <li>Minimum 8 years of experience in hydraulic design for transportation projects</li> <li>B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline</li> <li>Professional Engineer (PE)
