We are currently seeking a Scrum Master - Project Manager to join our team in Fort Knox (REMOTE), Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

Job Summary:  The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader for Agile development teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, like daily stand-ups and retrospectives, coaching the team and organization on Agile principles, removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team adheres to Scrum guidelines to deliver high-value products efficiently and effectively.  The Scrum Master will lead complex projects from initiation to closure, managing teams, timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure successful, high-quality delivery that aligns with organizational goals.  The Scrum Master will provide functions to support project management activities at the enterprise and local levels. The Scrum Master must have strong communication skills, be proficient in coaching, and problem-solving skills, with the goal of continuously improving the team's performance and product quality.     Roles and Responsibilities:
  • The Scrum Master will support project management activities at any level, derive requirements, when necessary, clarify requirements, oversee technical aspects of the project, coordinate with other teams, management, and stakeholders while leading and organizing Scrum meetings, including the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, to ensure their purpose is met and they are productive.
  • Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
  • Guide and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles and practices, helping them become self-organizing and cross-functional to create high-value products while acting as a shield for the development team, safeguarding their time from external distractions and interruptions to maintain focus and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve any obstacles or distractions that hinder the team's progress, working to clear roadblocks that impede their ability to complete sprint tasks.
  • Apply Project Management best practices in the synchronization and coordination of the development and execution of all requirements, ensuring engineering projects are completed in a timely manner with quality results.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement by guiding the team to adopt and improve their Scrum practices, focusing on learning and implementing feedback to become more effective and efficient
  • Ensure all Contractor personnel receive proper training, care, and access to the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete project and task requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to key leaders and stakeholders to include consolidating the Weekly Status Report and reviewing the Projects Tracker for accuracy.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them to keep the project on track.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS Degree (degree in Computer Science/Management preferred) or 5 years of related skills and experience.
  • Active secret clearance
  • Minimum 6 years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of military project management. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing new and complex project-related problems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Scrum framework and Agile principles.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desired candidates will have a PMP or Agile Methodology Certification, such as Scrum Master Certification.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the recruiting/accessioning processes is desired.
  Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,948 - $164,476. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
