The Agile Delivery Center Spain @ Capgemini is a specialized hub located in Murcia and Valencia, focused on delivering innovative software solutions using Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.

We are looking for Middleware Integration Engineers with at least 4 years of experience in software development projects, with fluent French, very passionate intechnology and interested to be involved in a high-tech talent ecosystem, multicultural environment, and in an active and dynamic and open-minded culture.

YOUR ROLE

As Middleware Integration Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing integration solutions between enterprise systems in Java-based applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting-edge technologies. In Agile environments. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

In our teams, a Software Engineer applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. He/she is responsible for research and acquire knowledge in its technical discipline. He/she collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

The Software Engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in our internal Professional Communities. 

YOUR TASKS

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending workin a project. Participate in the technical impact study that leads to the drafting of the budget. Document integration solution and participate in technical reviews.
  • Design and implement System Integrations: Design and implement high-quality integrations between enterprise systems and applications using technologies usch as databases, ETL processes, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Participate in the development of the most complex functionalities. Supervise all development lifecycle. 
  • Configure and manage connectivity: between enterprise applications, ensuring interoperability and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, security and cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure integrations meet technical and business standards to deliver robust software solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software engineering practices. Proposeimprovements in application development

YOUR PROFILE

Has more than four years of relevant work experience. Is fully competent in it's own area and has a deep understanding of related programming concepts software design and software development principles. Works autonomously with minimal supervision. Able to act as a key contributor in a complex environment, lead the activities of a team for software design and software development. Acts proactively to understand internal/external client needs and offers advice even when not asked. Able to assess and adapt to project issues, formulate innovative solutions, work under pressure and drive team to succeed against its technical and commercial goals. Aware of profitability needs
