Position Responsibilities include:

1. Under direction, completes assignments and ensures satisfactory completion of all work including associated paper work and documentation.
2. Maintain the swimming pool and spa including cleaning and testing for water quality.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance on all facilities and equipment as assigned on monthly preventative maintenance (PM) work orders.
4. Perform “daily rounds” inspection throughout the campus, reporting problems to supervisor.
5. Performs monthly fire alarm testing in central facility buildings.
6. Drive trucks and golf carts as needed.
7. Provide 24 hour emergency maintenance on-call assignments as scheduled in rotation with other employees.
8. Move furniture, flooring, and equipment, as needed.
9. Assist with special events as assigned.
10. Assist with personnel training as assigned.
11. Assist in the coordination of special events.

1. High School, trade, or vocational school graduate or four years apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training.
2. Knowledge of Pool maintenance required.
3. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting and some light carpentry preferred.
4. Ability to evaluate/analyze and complete a variety of tasks and specific work assignments
5. Ability to be organized and follow up with written and verbal work requests.
6. Knowledge and ability to operate hand/power tools, testing devices, and all other equipment necessary to perform the work in a satisfactory manner.
7. Valid California driver’s license with good driving record.
