About this Role:
AT&T is focused on delivering the best wireless and fiber experiences for our customers. Our Marketing and Research teams are using data-driven insights and the latest market trends to enable strategic decisions that surpass to position AT&T to outpace competitors. This market research and analysis role will gather data and conduct industry, brand health and product-specific analyses to assess market conditions and provide brand and CX insights to support the evolution of AT&T and its experiences and offerings. The analyst will have deep experience with research programs, data analysis tools, and be able curate and develop information to evaluate market and competitive landscape and trends, current and future products, and market strategies.
Work Schedule: This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered
Work Location: Dallas, TX or El Segundo, CA or Atlanta, GA
Work Summary:
Manage and optimize brand health diagnostic and other research tools related to AT&T’s Consumer and B2B Lines of Business.
- Brand Health Tracker – the official source of key brand health metrics and diagnostics
- Pulse Program – custom studies conducted on a variety of customer experience and product development topics
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of the Brand Health Tracker and Pulse Program, ensuring robust methodologies, timely execution, and actionable insights
- Manage the creation and delivery of strategic Brand Health and CX related primary research insights for C-suite, Customer Experience, Brand, Marketing, and external agency audiences
- Possess expert knowledge within the marketing research field (both qualitative and quantitative approaches, sampling, and data analysis) and the ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas.
- Ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and synthesis, leveraging a wide range of best-in-class market research and advanced analytics techniques
- Translate raw data into meaningful insights, crafting compelling narratives that drive business impact. Prepare presentation materials with clear reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to support findings. Present findings to leadership in a persuasive, passionate, and articulate manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure research efforts are aligned with business needs
- Manage multiple, simultaneous tracking platforms with support from outside research firms
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data, insights, and form recommendations related to company strategies, new products, and marketing tactics
- Mentor and manage one direct report, providing guidance and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Deep expertise in designing and executing primary market research (quantitative and qualitative):
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Market Research professional
- Experience assessing methodological options and recommending Market Research approaches that answer key business questions in a quick and cost-effective manner
- A critical thinker with experience crafting easy to follow, “voice of the customer” centric stories for business stakeholders that enable them to drive actions and decisioning

- The ability to multitask and deliver multiple simultaneous projects on time with high quality
- A strong cross-functional collaborator and partner to internal stakeholder to drive alignment and influence decision making and action plans
- The ability to synthesize large amounts of data and extract critical insights and implications
- Able to clearly communicate key insights (verbally and in writing) and speak/act with confidence
- A multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only based on past experiences but stays abreast of approaches and developments occurring in the marketing research fields
- BS/BA required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred
