About the Role 

Alto is seeking a Senior Director for Alto’s Customer Experience and Systems team (ACES), reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. This critical role will help drive performance, create innovation and own critical projects across our Supply Chain and other business functions to deliver a continuously improving  service for our patients.  As a Senior Director, you’ll have a team of product and program managers reporting to you and will be responsible for creating and executing company-wide initiatives.

  • Help drive alignment and optimization across SC, operations, and business leaders
  • This role also includes strategic decision-making in areas including cost optimization via automation and process improvements, improving First Pass Yield, identifying customer feedback and integrating financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
  • Maintain Alto’s perspective on key objectives, and provide insight to the executive team for long term profitability forecasting purposes.
  • Monitor and manage costs to ensure adherence to budgets, forecasts and profitability goals.
  • Play an integral role on Alto’s Leadership team. 

A Bit About You:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ten years of operations and SC experience. Ideally managing complex and innovative projects.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business objectives across multiple functions.
  • Strong foundation in team-oriented planning processes; and experienced in demand forecasting, sales analysis, inventory management, master and finite scheduling, and strategic planning.
  • Hands-on, “in the trenches” style with a strong work ethic, high level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to be involved in many aspects of a growing company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, work collaboratively and positively influence at all levels including executives, functional managers, leads, and technical experts.
    • Capability to influence and achieve alignment with supply chain, sales, and manufacturing peers is essential.
    • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix reporting environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.

Preferred Qualifications: 

    • MBA is a plus
    • Director-level experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree Required.
  • Preferably in either Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, Engineering
  • Experience working with a start-up organization
  • Experience working in Pharmacy. 

Additional Physical Job Requirements:

  • Read English, comprehend, and follow simple oral and written instructions.  The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.  Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.  Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., phone conversations)
  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
