About the role
Job Description:
- Prepare rough drafts according to requirements.
- Use digital media to create complete illustrations.
- Refine designs with illustration software.
- Use various colors, graphics, and effects to better visualize each concept.
- Format images using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex shapes.
- Participate in design briefs with government customer to identify their needs.
- Define time and budget limitations.
- Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards.
- Brainstorm with the government customer to come up with new ideas, patterns, and styles.
- Stay up-to-date with new design technique and software.
Typical Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, design, graphics, animation or related fields
Typical Experience:
- 8 years experience in 2-D and 3-D animation software Additional Guidelines:
- Experience with animation projects that include TV spots and industrial sequences or experience as an animator at a major animation company (i.e. Disney, etc).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
