About you

You are a performance driven Business or Engineering graduate, who thrives on collaboration, has a high level of accountability, is an assertive team player and most importantly, wants to add value to our customers business?

 

About the opportunity

During this extensive program, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the exciting world of refractory.  In a dynamic, environment, you will gain experience in the areas of Account Management, Operations and Technical Marketing, as well as participate in strategic projects in the company's growth. At the end of the trainee program, you will take on conceptual, analytical and operational tasks in our sales unit.

 

You will also:
 

• Participate in an 18-month trainee program including three 6-month rotational assignments
• Actively engage and participate in training assignment
• Become familiar with product lines, selling methods and customer care that affect each phase of our business.
• Seek feedback constantly and adapt to an ever-changing industry with agility and confidence

In addition, you have:

 

• Minimum post-secondary education, Preferably in Engineering and or Business

• 2+ years of experience working in an industrial environment (Steel making industry is ideal)
• Familiarity with heavy industrial environments and related safety standards
• Must be comfortable in dealing with customers from all levels
• Independent worker and self-starter

• Hands on, forward thinking, and improvement/results driven
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
