Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for an Account Manager for our Aviation Team!
Provides high quality customer service while assisting in the coordination of services between the client and the insurance company on various aviation accounts with little to no oversight. Participates in the marketing process and provides clerical support to the aviation team. Provides day-to-day accounting functions to include all invoicing and collection tasks. Delegates to others and responsible for mentoring and potentially supervising the work of others to ensure all tasks are performed in a satisfactory manner by all involved.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Promptly and accurately responds to client, underwriter, and internal requests. If responsibilities
are delegated, follows through to ensure client received timely response.
Responds directly and promptly to team’s support requests.
Verifies accuracy of invoicing and assist with accounting issues
Monitors monthly aged receivables report and provide follow-up as needed with customers.
Completes premium finance agreement requests and creates premium allocations as needed.
Collects and analyzes client exposure data for assigned customers.
Accurately prepares customer documents such as insurance proposals, certificates, etc.
Responsible for new client setup and ongoing client maintenance in the appropriate agency
management system(s). This includes such duties as: filing documents and updating client
information into the policy management system, tracking the status of open items, providing
documents to client and team members as requested.
Maintain accurate electronic files for assigned customers.
Update master renewal spreadsheet accordingly.
Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
Attends Continuing Education classes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong oral and written communication skills to include the ability to stay organized in a faced
paced environment.
Demonstrates good listening skills to enhance understanding and probes effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to
maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a
high level of customer service.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting service requirements.
Works in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for
service quality.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all systems.
Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with
various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems.
Ability to work in a team environment that is constantly changing.
10 or more years of experience in business administration with accounting experience
Licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state. Participates in continuing
education to maintain the appropriate level of credentials.
