Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project and task lifecycles, ensuring seamless communication across stakeholders and timely execution of all deliverables.
- Provide expert oversight on scope, budget, schedule, and performance metrics to meet and exceed mission goals.
- Supervise project teams, including managers and technical staff, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Develop and manage detailed technical project plans, strategic proposals, progress reports, and administrative documentation.
- Identify, assess, and resolve project risks and challenges to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, facilitating clear, consistent communication and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and guide the development of high-quality deliverables, ensuring they meet stringent quality assurance standards.
- Maintain active engagement with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies, fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Provide strategic insights and planning support to the client for managing task workloads and future project requirements.
- Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to the mission and integrate innovations where appropriate.
- Participate in special projects that support strategic objectives and long-term organizational growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 4 additional years of experience in information technology.
- 5+ years experience
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience managing technical projects supporting DoD, or intelligence community clients is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small-to-medium teams or departments across multiple functions with moderate to high complexity.
- Proven track record of managing project scope, cost, schedule, and performance in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.
- Experience supporting or collaborating with federal government agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Adept at risk management, issue resolution, and adapting to rapidly changing priorities or mission needs.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
