Lead Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)
Location: The Learning Experience – Tuckahoe, NY
Pay: $20–$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Hiring Timeline: Position needed within 2 weeks

About The Learning Experience

At The Learning Experience, our teachers create joyful classrooms where children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Through our L.E.A.P. curriculum, we support early language development, social skills, and structured routines that prepare children for preschool success.

The Learning Experience – Tuckahoe is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom during this important stage of development.

Responsibilities

Lead a 2-year-old classroom with structure, warmth, and consistency
 Implement lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
 Support language growth, independence, and social-emotional development
 Guide toileting routines and daily classroom transitions
 Partner with assistant teachers to maintain classroom quality
 Communicate regularly with families about progress and milestones
 Maintain compliance with NY childcare licensing standards

Qualifications

One of the following required:

•  12 credits in Early Childhood Education 
•  CDA credential 
•  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education 

Experience working with toddlers required
 Lead classroom experience preferred
 Must meet New York childcare licensing requirements
