What you'll do...

• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring associates utilize proper safety equipment Maintains work areas for example floor free of debris equipment operational and clean hazards removed
• Requests materials supplies, parts, and repair services
• Manages the daily operation of the production area by planning and establishing work schedules and assignments
• Monitors and evaluates operations programs processes and practices for quality and effectiveness Inspects materials products and equipment for defects or malfunctions
• Assists in production sequence planning in order to meet production goals and provide superior customer service
• Ensures the timely resolution of associate performance concerns
• Completes and analyzes departmental reports
• Manages the continuous improvement Lean culture by documenting and implementing new and improved processes
• Participates in new hire and ongoing associate training
• Provides process improvement guidance related to waste control quality management and process effectiveness
• Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
