Job Description:

Telespazio is a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) and one of the world’s biggest suppliers of satellite solutions and services. The company teams up with Thales Alenia Space to form the parent companies’ Space Alliance, a strategic partnership which offers a complete range of space services.

Founded in Italy in 1961, Telespazio is based in Rome and counts more than 3000 employees through its various subsidiaries and joint ventures.

The resource will manage all the activities related to the Group’s passive cycle: estimates, orders, control and accounting of purchase invoices, payments deadlines, PTP reconciliation and perform period end activities.

Activities

• Creation and maintenance of supplier records in order to manage passive cycle
• Record the invoices related to physical goods and or services in the ERP system and manage discrepancies, if needed
• Manage the end-to-end process for payment vendors on accounting side
• Manage the process from the receipt to the resolution of inquiries from the vendors
• Manage supplier factoring
• Analyze and reconcile payable accounts in order to solve discrepancies and ensuring that all records are processed in ERP System
• Manage relationship with Internal Controls and Audit in order to guarantee regulatory complianceternal Controls and Audit in order to guarantee regulatory compliance

Requirements

• previous experiences in accounting
• from 2 to 5 years of experience in the sector
• ecomonics background
• english is a plus
• knowledge of Lucy Star

The contract offered is temporary (6 months with the possibility of renewal).
