Job Description
Sobi has transformed and re-vitalized its Project Operating Model with the purpose of building a strong cross-functional and cross-global alignment, increase clarity in governance and speed in decision making with focus on strategic planning, alliance management and execution/delivery.
In this context Sobi wants to ensure a strong cross-functional leadership, orchestrated by Core Asset Teams constituted by senior representatives from GMSA, R&D and Medical Affairs (RDMA), TechOps, Commercial Operations and Project Management.
The Core Asset Team reports to CCO , and the Core Asset Team Lead reports to one executive leadership member, who will then be the EXCOM sponsor of the team. The CAT Lead is deployed from the “Home Function”. The position is a full time cross-functional executive leadership role, and all core functional areas will be represented by deployed senior representatives, independent from which area the CAT Lead is deployed.
CAT Lead Tasks
- Strategically and operational leading the CAT, orchestrating cross functional work to define development and commercialization plans in close collaboration with core functions and regions
- Lead the Cross functional teams working in the Therapy Area and related brands in close partnership with the assigned RDMA and Technical Operations Leaders
- Develop and lead the execution of an Integrated Life Cycle Strategic Development & Launch Plan in line with the overall corporate portfolio strategy priorities - through close collaboration with all appropriate functions & leaders, creating as part of this initiative a one-truth data source
- Accountable for overall global product success, sharing P&L responsibility with the Regions and ensuring that the projects are executed according to Sobi’s governance model, that deviation in time and costs are identified early, corrective measured implemented and when deemed unavoidable are reported/endorsed by relevant governance committees
- Collaborate with regional Products Operations to ensure strategic alignment, understand market insights, provide tactical support, and execute pre-launch
- Work with support functions such as Analytics & Insights and Commercialization Excellence to drive marketing performance, ensure successful launch strategies, and coordinate pre-launch
- When applicable, orchestrate with support from Alliance Management effective interfaces and collaboration with our Asset Partner Companies
- Lead, coach and develop the commercial team for one product as well as the Immunology and Specialty Care group
Stakeholders
- Reports to Excom NA CCO, with Functional reporting to SVP Region Europe
- CEO, Excom Members Senior GMSA and RDMA Leaders, Head of Portfolio and Project Management, Head of Alliance Management
- Commercial leadership in regions and countries
Qualifications
Education/Learning Experience/Work Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Languages
- Master’s degree within a relevant field; a science background is strongly preferred
- International experience having worked in global roles or with a significant international exposure
- Product launch experience would be an advantage
Personal Attributes
- Longstanding communication leadership experience from setting direction, leading, mentoring, and coaching communication professionals and teams in a top-tier organization
- Intercultural experience with Scandinavian, Swiss and US business culture
- Fluency in English; fluency in other languages is a
