Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to maximise the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Works with multiple functional groups to meet business needs.
- Plans and organizes work with periodic supervision.
- Trains on routine operation, maintenance and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs and regulatory procedures and guidelines.
- Ensures QA findings are addressed appropriately.
- Aids and training to other team members.
- Problem solving, either independently or with assistance Communicates project status to project leader.
- Performs work assignments accurately, and in a timely and safe manner.
- Experience in a fast-paced GMP environment
- Understands and maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements
- Understands, implement and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements
- Perform lab support activities as necessary and provide support for department
- Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed. Works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish business objectives
- Support investigations
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’)
- OR Masters degree
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority and ICH guidelines
- Ability to understand and independently apply GMPs and /or GLPs to everyday work with regard to documentation an instrument use
- Ability to apply Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks
- Empower software a plus
- Ability to independently optimize analytical methods
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Time management and project management skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
