Description
The Maintenance Supervisor leads the plant maintenance team to ensure the reliability, availability,
performance, and safe operation of all production and utility equipment. This role oversees
maintenance activities to guarantee they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with
standardized procedures. By applying preventive and predictive maintenance practices, the
supervisor reduces recurring failures, improves Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and
optimizes Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Key responsibilities include minimizing unplanned
downtime, fostering a strong safety culture, supporting continuous production, and driving the plant’s
operational objectives.

Technical Competencies:
• Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within continuous or high-speed
manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including
troubleshooting and repair.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation and control systems (motors, drives, sensors)
and basic PLC diagnostics.
• Skilled in supporting process and material-handling equipment for continuous operations.
• Familiarity with industrial utilities such as chillers, boilers, compressors, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in preventive and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability
improvement strategies.
• Knowledgeable in maintenance systems, documentation, and key performance indicators
(MTTR, MTBF, uptime).
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, including LOTO and machine guarding.
• Experienced in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing equipment
reliability.
• Capable of providing technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to maintenance
teams.
• Effective collaborator with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Skilled in developing action plans and applying the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process.

· Oversee and perform diverse duties to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and
facility equipment.
· Manage reactive maintenance teams assigned to equipment repairs and emergency
interventions.
· Provide prompt response to crises and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
· Mentor and motivate Maintenance Lead Technicians and Maintenance Technicians to ensure
high performance.
· Collaborate with other departments to support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
