Part-Time Accounting Instructor

LOCATION:  Green Bay

Course Schedule:  Courses are 8 weeks, and each semester has two 8-week sessions.  Courses run daytime, evening and/or online.  Please indicate availability on your resume/cover letter.

SALARY:   $45.00 per class hour contracted

POSITION REPORTS TO: Associate Dean, College of Business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Occupational Experience:  Two years of direct related occupational experience.
• Two years of direct occupational experience required in an occupation related to Accountant, Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Public Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Management Accountant, Controller, or Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Internal Auditor, Auditor, Tax Accountant.
• At a minimum, occupational experience has to have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years.

• CPA desirable.

Other Requirements

• Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred
• Ability to work non-standard hours including evening and weekend hours
• The candidate must possess the qualifications necessary to be designated a professionally qualified faculty member in accordance with ACBSP standards.

• Responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction and assessment of learning outcomes.
