We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Market Research & Insights to lead our global market intelligence efforts, turning data into actionable insights that fuel strategic decisions, inspire healthier lives, and drive our mission forward.

This highly visible role will inform innovation across our portfolio, support go-to-market and brand strategies and influence critical areas including new product development (NPD), brand equity tracking, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) measurement. As a strategic business partner, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure we stay ahead of market dynamics and customer expectations.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Global Support Center in Rosemont, IL. Remote work is available on Mondays and Fridays, while Tuesdays through Thursdays are in-office collaboration days. #LI-Hybrid

As a Sr. Manager, Market Research & Insights, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end execution of global market, customer, and brand research initiatives, including qualitative, quantitative, primary, and secondary research.

• Design and manage comprehensive insights programs across the product lifecycle, from opportunity sizing and concept testing to brand equity, NPS tracking, and competitive analysis.

• Develop actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to support NPD, marketing strategy, customer experience, and commercial decision-making.

• Translate complex data into compelling insights and strategic implications for executive audiences and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Establish frameworks to evaluate market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and assess competitor strategies to guide business planning.

• Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery of research projects.

• Serve as the voice of the customer and exerciser across all brand and product decisions, consistently upholding our value of putting the customer first.

• Foster a collaborative, cross-functional environment that reflects our commitment to teamwork and shared success.

• Tackle ambiguity and complexity with resilience, applying structure and insight to support strategic clarity.

What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our Sr. Manager, Market Research & Insights:

• Bachelor’s degree in market research, business, statistics, social sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.

• 5 to 7 years of experience leading market research and insights programs in a global, matrixed organization.

• Prior experience building or managing small teams preferred, but not required

• Demonstrated expertise in survey design, data analysis, segmentation, and advanced methodologies such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, TURF, and Discrete Choice.

• Strong storytelling ability with a talent for translating data into strategic business insights.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior executives.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

• Global experience and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones; willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
