Duties and Responsibilities:
The Health Sciences Program in the Biology Department at Saint Peter’s University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall of 2025. The successful candidate will teach four undergraduate courses (12 credit hours per semester). This usually involves four lectures and/or laboratory sections with a focus on the Anatomy and Physiology sequence and health sciences courses in our Health Sciences programs. Courses in general biology and opportunities to develop new courses are also available. Applicants with previous teaching experience and who are dedicated to teaching undergraduates from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds in an interactive learning environment are especially encouraged to apply. The candidate will also be expected to mentor students in research and career aspirations. The successful candidate will also contribute to the university through service and maintain an active research program. SPU is fortunate to have several programs available to faculty members to support those efforts.

Tenure Information: Tenure-track
Salary Range: $62,000 to $64,000
Qualifications
