Part Time On Call – POL-MIL Strategy and Design Advisor/Analyst – DOD Top Secret SCI Eligible

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a POL-MIL Strategy and Design Advisor/Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will support our customers by assisting in the advancement of new and emerging technologies.

 

The position is a Part Time on Call POL-MIL Strategy and Design Advisor/Analyst position.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide full spectrum military planning, strategy design, and interagency engagement support as an advisor/analyst on engagements across the Combatant Commands and all Federal Agencies
• Provide subject matter expertise and leadership experience in military planning and staff integration to mentor team and select government stakeholders
• Advise on the integration and synchronization of influence activities with other USG joint directorates and USG capabilities during exercises and “academic weeks”
• Advising development of military operational plans and development of innovative solutions to complex problems related to strategic competition
• Assisting as required in development of Concepts, approaches, and new strategies involving the use of MISO and other IO in campaign plans
• Participate in meetings, conferences and technology related events and experiments with the Peraton Team
• Provide technical expert support and management on the implementation of Information related programs, projects and capabilities for all our Partners
• Assist with our ability to Interface, coordinate and leverage ongoing research and development (R&D) efforts across industry, US government and academia
• Maintain on call availability on a rotational basis with other team members for limited periods
• Note: Travel to customer sites as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with PhD (Military planning, strategy design and leadership experience related years of experience). 4 additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of BS/BA education requirement.
• Joint or senior Military Service Level Operations with Experience with multiple US Military Combatant or Functional Commands
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and plans and coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders at the senior government levels
• Able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required by the program.
• Possess a current U.S. Passport.
• Position requires a TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Eligibility

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with recent (last 4 years) Joint or senior Military Service Level Operations in the experience with multiple US Military Combatant and Function Commands
• Experience working in the combatant commands customer space as an individual technical contributor
• Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills to include proficiency with customer-based communication systems
• Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills; ability to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Experience working with distributed teams and project management experience of large projects >$20M
• Understanding of current communication and engineering technologies supported by excellent listening and administrative skills to capture highlights of briefings, and key engagement with others in the industry

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
