The National Dental Leasing Network and Provider Account Management Professional initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements for an organization that provides health insurance. The Provider Contracting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Humana is seeking a National Dental Leasing Network and Provider Account Management Professional to build strategic and collaborative partnerships with dental providers and maintain ongoing relationships with leased network and providers that are favorable to Humana’s business. You will also ensure a competitive network and help facilitate the sales force’s ability to penetrate new business opportunities. 

Function as the single point-of-contact for all on-going contractual and service issues as needed by leased network partners.

Facilitate provider education, training them in order to increase their familiarity and satisfaction with Humana’s systems and strategies. 
Create trend analyses and summaries for decision-making purposes. 
Interface with market leaders to align contracting needs and business efforts. 
Set targets and priorities in order to meet national and market-specific network needs. 

Analyze systems issues for accuracy between Humana and Leased Network.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field; or a minimum of 2 years’ relevant business experience in contracting or provider relations.
• Experience in managed care contracting and/or provider relations  
• Proficiency in analyzing and understanding internal systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• This position will require some minimal travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dental practice recruitment, dental carriers, dental provider relations.
• Experience presenting to varied audiences.

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

·       At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

·       Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

·       Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

·       Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

·       Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
