Purpose

Solves organizational business problems using technology by analyzing business requirements, designing technology solutions, and recommending system controls and protocols, with an emphasis on project management.  Manages, develops and equips teams to solve business problems using technology solutions.  Supports the analysis and definition of SAP functions, business processes, and user needs.  Supports the analysis and implementation of commercial and marketing systems/integrations.  Promotes a culture of organized, effective project management within Chiesi.
    

Main Responsibilities

Manage IT business teams and projects
•    Lead a team that acts as liaisons between departmental end-users and IT staff in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing, and maintenance of SAP and other business applications to ensure optimal system integration and performance.
•    Manage and mentor the IT business system team, fostering a culture of quickly responding to business needs with high-quality solutions
•    Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and users.
•    Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with Chiesi global IT system owners in Europe.
•    Manage projects from the requirements gathering through completion.
•    Track and document changes in complex functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users.

Support the business by collecting business needs and identifying worthwhile improvements.
•    Identify opportunities for improving business processes in partnership with process owners and management
•    Analyze the feasibility of and develops requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems and ensure that the system design fits the needs of the users.

Support business applications
•    Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff on matters related to assigned area.
•    Analyze issues and manage the escalation to the appropriate IT support teams.

Experience Required

•    Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position or as a consultant in a regulated environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
