(Senior) General Ledger Analyst with Spanish

<h3>Job Description</h3><p>About this role</p><p>This role performs general ledger operations for Biogen’s LATAM Affiliates, including but not limited to cash and treasury reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, prepayments and accruals, recording of revenue and expenses, etc. They provide an accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information including PnL, BS, VAT, CIT and other packages,</p><p>What you will do:</p><ul><li>Calculate and post journal entries</li><li>Provide reporting of PnL, BS and other various schedules</li><li>Prepare VAT and CIT analyses</li><li>Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and other analysis performed on a monthly manner</li><li>Cooperate with consultants in preparation of statutory financial statements</li><li>Have a direct contact with internal and external auditors, provide data and explanations for auditors</li><li>Prepare KPIs and performance measurements for Mgt. reporting</li><li>Manage Ad hoc requests from Corporate Accounting / Affiliates</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Who You Are</p><p>You are GL Analyst who is passionate about using data to drive key business decisions. You are a person who actively maintains and expands your knowledge and you speak fluent English and Spanish.</p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>3+ years’ experience in international accounting</li><li>Experience in working for SSC/BPO required</li><li>Good understanding on various AP/AR/CM/FA processes</li><li>Good Knowledge of ERP (Oracle R12 preferred)</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office package (Outlook, Excel)</li><li>Experience in Continuous Improvement</li><li>Language proficiency in both<strong> Spanish</strong> and <strong>English</strong></li><li>Communication/collaboration/high ethics</li><li>Master's degree in finance (preferred in Accountancy area)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Why Biogen?</p><p>Our mission to find therapies for neurological and rare diseases is a unique focus within our industry and this shared purpose is what connects us as a team.
