Location: Hermitage, TN
Pay Range: 34.24−34.24−45.75/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7 AM - 7 PM), Rotating Weekends

Position Overview:
Join the Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center serving up to 166 patients daily. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to step into a leadership role, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and guiding a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all unit functions during assigned shifts.

• Monitor, assess, and document changes in patients' conditions.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans as needed.

• Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care.

• Provide patient, family, and caregiver education throughout the care continuum.

• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Unit Details:

• Trauma Level: III

• Beds in Unit: 22

• Patient Volume: Up to 166 patients daily

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• Licensure:

  • Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State RN license.

• Certifications:

  • Current BLS (required).

  • ACLS and PALS (within 1 year of employment).

  • CPI (within 6 months of employment).

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse.

  • Minimum 2-3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift).

  • Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift).

  • Trauma Experience: Preferred.
