As an Account Supervisor, you will lead operations across multiple accounts, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction. You’ll oversee a diverse team of custodial staff, conduct routine inspections, and serve as the primary point of contact for both employees and clients. Your success will be defined by your ability to know each account inside and out, build strong relationships, and drive operational excellence.

Location: 501 West Lake Park, Houston, TX 77079
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

This is a union position.

Key Responsibilities Team & Account Management

  • Supervise a team of 45 employees across multiple facilities.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Ensure staff are punctual, properly trained, and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Maintain awareness of each building’s layout and operational needs.

Client & Employee Engagement

  • Serve as the face of ABM for clients and employees during the evening shift.
  • Respond promptly to client requests and coordinate work orders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage payroll and scheduling for union staff.
  • Utilize technology (email, mobile apps, software systems) to streamline operations.
  • Ensure compliance with union codes and ABM standards.

Training & Development

  • Mentor team members and promote a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
  • Encourage independence and confidence in supervisors and staff.

Success in the First 90 Days

  • Develop a deep understanding of each account and its unique needs.
  • Build rapport with employees and clients across all shifts.
  • Demonstrate proactive leadership and minimize reliance on onsite supervisors.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of management experience in custodial, facilities, or service environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency (email, mobile apps, software systems).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage payroll and coordinate work orders.
  • Willingness to travel between accounts as needed.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in union environments.
  • Background in multi-site operations or facility management.
