This position pays up to $35.99/hr depending on experience.

Description of Role:

SRI Telecom is seeking a Telecom Outside Plant Project Manager to oversee network construction projects from planning through activation. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring work meets quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading OSP telecom construction projects, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to interpret maps, blueprints, and site survey data.

Tasks

• Lead outside plant telecom construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other partners to execute project plans.
• Track and manage schedules, risks, and budgets using advanced Excel functions (vLOOKUP, pivot tables, data tracking).
• Conduct or review site surveys and interpret maps, MVE drawings, and blueprints to support project planning.
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating when needed to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide timely status updates, and communicate effectively with leadership and field teams.
• Support process improvements, workflow documentation, and invoice accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing telecom outside plant construction projects
• Strong proficiency in Excel (vLOOKUP, pivot tables, scheduling, reporting).
• Ability to read and interpret OSP maps, blueprints, and MVE drawings; site survey experience required.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with workflow/project tools (BID, TOMS, Optix, Site Tracker) preferred.
• PMP or related project management certification a plus.
