About the role
ARServices is seeking to fill an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to our National Security and Intelligence team, supporting a key customer within the Department of Energy (DOE) / National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) located in Washington D.C. The Executive Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and managerial support to upper management throughout the Office of Management and Budget, Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, and the Office of Public Affairs.
Principal Duties:
- Serve as a primary affairs liaison to assigned programs and attend weekly meetings to integrate public affairs into strategic planning.
- Provide public affairs advice and recommendations to the Public Affairs Director, Deputy Director, and other External Affairs staff as appropriate on program activities, milestones, and issues.
- Develop communication plans and themes on significant program activities, milestones, and issues.
- Develop timely, high-quality written products that promote NNSA strategic objectives, policies, and programs.
- Reviewing and editing public affairs products to ensure they are consistent in style and formatting.
- Develop responses to media queries on program activities, milestones, and issues that are properly coordinated and cleared through HQ, field offices, and sites as appropriate.
- Assist in the maintenance of database of media relations activity, media contract lists, news clips, speaking engagement, and other public affairs activity as necessary.
- Track, prepare, and distribute news clips and other public affairs content as necessary.
- Assist in development of videos and informational graphics that clearly explain complex, technical activities and issues.
- Schedule, post, and monitor activities on NNSA’s social media platforms.

- Assist in the maintenance of long-term social media engagement calendar with the recurring annual critical events, relevant historical anniversaries, and opportunities to promote NNSA.
- Take photos and videos of program activities and official NNSA ceremonies.
Requirements
- Active DOE “Q” or DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Must have 5+ years of demonstrated foreign travel experience.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience working in a front-office or office management position.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of demonstrated foreign travel experience.
- 5-8 years of experience working in a front-office or office management position.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or college.
