About the Role:
We’re looking for design students aspiring to learn, make an impact, and gain real-world product design experience. If you are someone who is passionate about creating products that improve health outcomes for patients, we have a place for you to learn and grow. You’ll work as part of a dedicated design team that collaborates closely with product, engineering, and science to imagine, develop, and validate digital therapeutics that address specific health conditions. You’ll have an opportunity to be part of the entire product development cycle, from research and ideation, through delivery and iteration, driving the design vision of the patient experience. You’ll be mentored by experienced and passionate product designers and gain first-hand exposure to how design teams work. In addition to participating in ongoing product development responsibilities, you will also complete an internal project that can be highlighted in your portfolio.
This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. This is a hybrid internship in which you will come to the office Tuesday and Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- You'll own a project from concept to delivery during your internship.
- Attend and contribute to daily stand ups and take daily direction from design leads.
- Participate in user research, from creating testable prototypes, observing research sessions, to synthesizing results.
- Work heads down on project deliverables based on your core skill sets with oversight from design mentors.
- Unpack problems and develop solutions based on guided research.
- Express design concepts through a range of UX deliverables.
- Prototype solutions at increasing levels of fidelity, working with a UX copywriter.
Qualifications:
- Rising Junior or Senior undergrad.
- Basic knowledge of UX deliverables (journeys, flows, sketches, etc.) and when to use them.
- Basic knowledge of user research and human-centered design.
- A team player that’s willing to be coached.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with promising interface and interaction design skills.
- Experience using Sketch, Figma and/or Adobe XD. (We use Figma.)
Compensation: $22/hr
Hours and Duration:
This is a part-time, 30 hours/week position. The internship will have a duration of 11 weeks, from May 15th - July 26th 2024.
