RS-Nurse (LPN)

Description

KCARC is seeking applications for an LPN/RN for our Residential Program. This is a Full-Time, on-site position.

Summary:

The LPN/RN will provide nursing service for waiver participants receiving Wellness Coordination, and health care coordination to participants that do not have wellness. Will provide nursing service for individuals within KCARC’s group home program, as assigned.

Requirements

• Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours, valid driver’s license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage.
• Maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Use tact and empathy when dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
• Establish effective working relationships.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office products (Computer literate).
• Accept responsibility and demonstrate leadership.
• Be able to multitask effectively in a sometimes fast paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current Indiana license is required.
• One year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:

• Current Indiana RN or LPN License
• Medication Administration: Core A and Core B
• CPR/First Aid
