Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County operates after school programming in partnership with AISD. These locations are licensed child care centers which are regulated by State of Texas’s Child Care Licensing. BGCGTC is one of four Boys & Girls Club

organizations in Texas licensed as a child care operator. 

The School Site Lead is responsible for branch operations at assigned school site. The goal of the programs is to positively impact the lives of youth through activities and services that measurably and progressively move them individually to attain positive outcomes. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.

 Essential Functions and Responsibilities:   

Leadership:

• Implement supervisor’s vision
• Competent and credible leader others choose to follow
• Execute strategy and consistently achieve results

School Site Operations:

• Responsible for operations in all areas of facility
• Manage performance to achieve set goals
• Accountable for relationship management for membership and program fees with parents/guardians

School Site Programming:

• Accountable for programming in all areas facility
• Accountable for program quality in all areas facility

Administrative Compliance:

• Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time.
• Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs
• Accountable for accurate and timely collection and review of membership application
• Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls
• Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry
• Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth
• Must meet state requirements for licensed childcare site director

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work Monday-Friday, Full-Time
• Ability to work at various sites as directed
• Ability to be a positive role model
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
• Ability to relate to at-risk youth
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
• Position requires driving personal vehicle. Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.

Preferred Qualification: 

• Some college preferred
• Bilingual
• Currently certified CPR/ First Aid
• Knowledge of various program areas such as healthy lifestyles, culture and arts, academics, social development and teen interests
• Work experience with or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club) is an advantage

Pay and Benefits: 

• Hourly Pay:  $20.00
