As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading Divisional programs with highly cross-functional teams to deliver platform solutions to key customers.
• Implementing strong project management and agile tool discipline across programs to keep customer needs a priority.
• Determining direction and scope of projects in order to maintain focus on common objectives.
• Supporting your team with mentoring and coaching and with a drive to remove impediments and deliver success for the team.
• Creating a culture of collaboration, teamwork and success with the team, our customers and stakeholders.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of experience in a product development or commercialization role (lab, manufacturing or marketing) with experience in project leadership in a private, public, government, or military environment
• One (1) year of experience in project management skills and expertise that includes PMP, Agile, and/or SCRUM.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Possess a master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics
• Proven record of driving technology/products to commercialization
• Business acumen: demonstrated ability to work with business and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills at all levels with Stakeholder, Champions and team members.
• Understanding of 3M materials, key 3M technologies and processes.
• Understanding of 3M NPI systems and corporate tools
• Ability to motivate, develop, and coach team personnel
• Formal Project Management training or certification (eg. PMI)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $141,150 - $172,517, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
