The Role at a Glance

As AVP, Vendor and Transformation Mgt, you will provide leadership and drive strategy development for transformation projects in alignment with key Vendor Strategy and Shared Service Management objectives.  You will drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration across spend categories. This position will also oversee our service management framework as well as its integration and support from our offshore managed service team(s).
 

What you'll be doing

1.    Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
2.    Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
3.    Spearhead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) opportunities with strategic relationships and looks to grow SRM over time. Create governance program strategy for key categories and drive outcomes. 
4.    Act as a trusted advisor with expert knowledge on Lincoln vendors, categories – how, where, and what we use vendor for, with ability to present pertinent vendor and/or industry trends to stakeholders and propose updates and improvements to existing strategies.
5.    Understand our offshore footprint, types of contracts signed, and vendor deliverables and obligations as defined in the contracts, demonstrating a strong understanding of the category and building/driving the future roadmap.
6.    Segment and rationalize the vendor portfolio strategically, highlighting opportunities for consolidation and growth with vendors based on pricing and capabilities.
7.    Implement appropriate vendor due diligence and vendor risk management practices. 
8.    Lead delivery of performance feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.
9.    Drive improvements in processes, policy, systems, management information and reporting.
10.    Oversee governance of Finance offshore managed service team(s), actively increase utilization and maximization of established model, monitor program delivery and impact.   
11.    Ensures continued Finance service management delivery through current state assessments, business case development, and program governance.
 

What we’re looking for

•    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
•    10+ Years of experience aligned to a combination of vendor management, manage service provider and process improvement, including 3+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders. (Required)
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements, growth mindset.
•    Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•    Ability to create and effectively manage administrative budgets and develop business performance measures to evaluate productivity.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams working on multiple complex concurrent projects.
