What you will be doing:Responsible for maintaining the internal and external facility physical assets of the property.
• Support the manufacturing process and the facility by maintaining or repairing equipment.• Complete preventive maintenance and planned maintenance projects in a timely and safe manner.• Participate in improvement events.• Keep machine and facility records up to date.• Recommend improvements to existing processes.• Maintain working order of necessary repair equipment and tools.• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
What you need:
• Experience with maintenance equipment to include fork lift, snow clearing equipment, welding and machine shop equipment.• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues• Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test equipment, and hand tools.• Able to communicate effectively both orally and written with co-workers, other departments and outside vendors.
Education and Experience
• Equivalent of four years of high school (required).• Completion of trade school or equivalent completing certificate in facilities maintenance (required).• Three to four years of experience in manufacturing and facility support maintenance.
Computer Skills
• Basic: Computer, electronic mail and utilization of the internet for research purposes.

• None.

• While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:o Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.o Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to reach with hands and arms.o Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, or balance.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
